Structural and functional studies of a proton pump and membrane transporters
The texts go into articles with generic names [[Positions_1]], [[Positions_2]] and so on. Thus, if you add a position advert to the bottom of the list, please edit the text of an empty or expired article with generic name, and adjust the text of the link on this page.<br>

Please give an application deadline for the job offer - "position is open until filled" is too unspecific. Thanks!
A post-doc position is available in the membrane protein structural biology group at the Department of Molecular Biology/Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The aim of the research is to understand the structure and functions of integral membrane proteins.

The successful candidate will be involved in both crystallographic and biochemical studies of the target proteins. Frequent short trips to Grenoble, France for data collection would be necessary. The lab is situated at the Biomedical Center (BMC) in Uppsala, Sweden.

The applicant should hold a PhD and have a strong background in protein chemistry, preferably x-ray crystallography. Experience with membrane proteins is a great advantage. You must be able to work independently but also interact/collaborate with group members and collaborators. Strong written and oral English communication skills are required. The projects involve national and international collaborations.

The application must include your CV, list of publications, previous research accomplishments (one page) and names and contact information of at least two academic references. The position is for up to three years. Further inquires and applications should be sent to:
