Hearthstone is a free-to-play online digital collectible card game.

About the Game

Hearthstone is being delevoled by Blizzard Entertainment and is set in the lore of the Warcraft series. On a narrative level, it is therefore closey related to the world and characters of World of Warcraft.

New Cards are released in a regular cycle and can be acquired by buying packs through an in-game currency or microtransactions.

The game contains different single-player and multiplayer game modes.

Game Mechanics

In the standard game mode, the player uses a deck of cards, which usually contains of 30 cards. The deck is built indiviudally by the players. They can therefore choose between nine different types of heroes and their spesific card sets. Each hero enables a different playstyle.
