Adventure

Mostly story driven Single-Player-Games. The Player has to advance through levels by completing quests or solving puzzles. The Adventure Genre was one of the first Genres in Computergames, starting with the Subgenre "Text-Adventure".

Beat 'em up

FPS ( First Person Shooter )

Main aspect is the camera position. The game is played in "First Person", through the eyes of the protagonist. Further, it includes elements of an Action-Game.

Simulation games let the player experience real life vehicles in a digital environment. The player can drive cars or tanks, fly planes or fighter jets. Depending on the contents it can therefore be a war or a sport game, or something else.

Includes all types of real life sports. Successful franchises are usually linked to the most popular sports, for example football games.
