Huizinga, Johan

Johan Huizinga, born on December 7th 1878 and died February 1st 1945, was a dutch cultural historian. His research approach towards culture and play that he claimed in his book Homo Ludens had an major impact on the scholar engagement towards the research approach of games and play, as well as on video games.
