MOBA is a subgenre of video strategy games an closely related to RTS (Real Time Strategy). As the first MOBA-type game the Dota Mod originated out of the RTS-game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002) from blizzard. The most popular examples of this genre are DOTA 2 or League of Legends (2009).
