Creating an account

If you would like to get an account, you can create an account yourself. I would be glad if you choose the user name such that your real name may be recognized, but this is completely optional, and a user name may also be renamed later (which also changes the username recorded in the changelog of edited or newly composed articles).

To prevent spam accounts, you'll have to pass a simple "exam". If it appears necessary I might disable account creation to avoid abuse by spambots. If "create account" does not appear at Special:Userlogin/signup, email me, Kay dot Diederichs at uni-konstanz dot de, to have me enable it temporarily.
